Chestnut Township Emergency Operations Center

MKSD was hired by Chestnuthill Township to provide comprehensive design services for the new Chestnuthill Township Emergency Operations Center. The facility is designed to house WEFCO, West End Ambulance, the Chestnuthill Township Emergency Operations Center, and the potential addition of a police department.

The building will be constructed on a nearly seven-acre plot at the intersection of Route 715 and Firehouse Lane in Brodheadsville, PA. Spanning approximately 21,000 square feet, it is designed to accommodate the needs of each organization while allowing for future expansion.
The design incorporates dedicated emergency vehicle flow, with separate areas for fire and ambulance traffic. A proposed helipad is also included as part of the overall plan.
