640 Hamilton Street

Conceived as a unified sales space for a premier event venue and a high end urban development, 640 Hamilton provides a comfortable place for potential clients to plan their events or discuss plans to lease space.

Retrofit into the first floor of an existing office building on a high traffic corner, the space welcomes visitors with a casual seating area and hospitality focused refreshment center. The space transitions from public to private with an open office area and conference space placed between public areas near the entrance and back of house spaces. A prep kitchen and storage areas for the adjacent event venue include direct access to the exterior service area for deliveries.

The interior finishes palette is simple, elegant, and modern with a nod to a refined industrial aesthetic. Existing structural steel was exposed and left with it’s natural somewhat rusted finish to create a visually interesting ceiling plane. Spiral ductwork and visually dynamic lighting highlight the different spaces, while visually dynamic tile and carpet enrich the floor plane.
