MKSD Participates in “Chair-ity” Event

When Corporate Environments asked Alicia if MKSD would participate in their fundraiser for Valley Youth House, she naturally said. “of course we will!” Then came the creative task of decorating an authentic Eames chair to go up for auction with 20 other chairs created by other participating local design firms. A lot of brainstorming and testing followed. Eventually the concensus in the office was a zebra design which we named the “Zeames Chair.”

Alicia and Susan attended the event held at Corporate Environments office in Bethlehem and were very proud when the chair sold for $375.00!!! The painting of the chair and the event were both a lot of fun and raised a total of $7,000.00 for Valley Youth House.
