Bucknell University Golf Club Clubhouse Renovation

MKSD provided design services for the renovation of the Bucknell University Golf Course Clubhouse facility.

The Golf Course Club House is a 1900 era farm house with a sizable addition in the mid-1980s. The building houses a dining area, kitchen, snack bar, pro shop, men’s and women’s locker rooms, member’s room and a bag storage area.

The project goal was to renovate the space to create a sports bar and related dining area.
The scope of work for this project will include:

• Expand the kitchen
• Install new kitchen equipment to accommodate new menu
• Install new bar
• Upgrade finishes in dining area
• Enclose porch on the West side of the building
• Remove existing bathrooms in dining area
• Create new ADA compliant restrooms
• Make locker room ADA compliantMake entrance at pro shop ADA compliant
• Upgrade finishes in pro shop and capture underutilized spacein pro shop area
• New HVAC system
• Upgrade electrical service to accommodate new HVAC and Kitchen equipment
• New fire alarm
• New emergency lighting
