Read More >MKSD architects, is happy to announce that Laura Clifton has joined our firm as an architectural designer and historic preservationist. Laura is originally from Greensboro, North Carolina, but relocated to the Lehigh Valley about a year ago.
Laura entered the architectural design world after deciding on a career change. After a few years working as a high school English teacher, Laura went back to school for interior design. She earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Interior Architecture and a Graduate Certificate in Historic Preservation from the University of North Carolina. Before relocating to the Lehigh Valley, Laura worked for North Carolina’s premier adaptive reuse and historic preservation architecture firm and did historic preservation consulting work. We are happy to welcome her, and Laura is excited to be part of the MKSD team and she looks forward to getting involved with historic preservation efforts in the Lehigh Valley.
