St. Luke’s University Health Network Macungie Health Center

The St. Luke’s University Health Network Macungie Health Center is a two-story 42,000 square-foot building on a previously underutilized site along Route 100 in Lower Macungie Township, Pa. MKSD designed the shell building for a local developer, aligning the design and material composition of the building with the St. Luke’s brand consisting of brick, stone and a canopy at a covered patient drop-off area. MKSD also provided architectural services in the SLUHN medical office interior fit-out of the building.

Main features of the interior fitout include a central registration and waiting area on each floor, CareNow urgent care with Radiology and Blood Lab components, an adult physical therapy suite, and SLPG provider clinical suites for Family Medicine, OBGYN, and Neurology.  All suites share centralized back-of-house and general building support spaces.
