Alterations to Pleasant Valley High School
Notice is hereby given that Pleasant Valley School District will receive sealed bids at the Pleasant Valley School District Administration office located at 2233 Route 115, Suite 100, Brodheadsville, PA 18322 until 10:00 a.m., prevailing time, March 29, 2019 for the Alterations to Pleasant Valley High School project consisting of interior alterations to the Administration entrance vestibule and new doors at various locations in the school. There is an alternate for new flooring in the Administration and Guidance Suite.
Bidders may obtain one set of bidding documents from MKSD, LLC. on March 1, 2019 by visiting the architect’s website www.mksdarchitects.com. To be recognized as a valid bidder, bid documents for this project (including any specifications and drawings) must be purchased and downloaded from the architect’s website at www.mksdarchitects.com. Due to the possibility of inaccuracies in documents procured from other sources, and the potential for an incomplete understanding of the project scope, bids submitted by firms who procure these documents from any other source by the authorized source will be considered non-responsive and will be rejected. Deposit: Non-refundable $50.00.
All bids must be submitted in sealed envelopes, plainly marked on the outside “Alterations to Pleasant Valley High School” and mailed or delivered to the Pleasant Valley School District Administration office before the hour and date specified above. Immediately following the due date and time, all bids received will be publicly opened and read aloud at the District Administration Office and referred to the District Board for final award.
Bids must be accompanied by a certified check, or a bid bond, with a corporate surety authorized to do business in Pennsylvania in accordance with the project specifications in the amount of 10% of the total bid amount. A Performance Bond and Payment Bond in the amount of 100% of the contract shall be furnished by the successful bidder as detailed in the Instructions to Bidders. Prevailing Wage Rates apply.
A pre-bid meeting will be conducted on March 12, 2019 at 3:00 PM. Attendance is strongly encouraged. Attendees of the pre-bid meeting shall meet at the High School Administration entrance located at 1671 Route 209, Brodheadsville, PA 18322. Questions may be submitted, in writing, via email to Ryan Kennedy (email@example.com) on or before March 25, 2019 at 4:00 p.m. Responses will be provided to all registered bidders.
The Pleasant Valley School District reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids or portions or to waive any informalities in bidding and to withhold award for a period of sixty days.
