MKSD designed the interior tenant improvement to two existing shell building spaces to accommodate a new Dan’s Camera City location in Nazareth, Pennsylvania. The design process included re-visioning the retail experience to reinforce the Dan’s brand.
The two shell building spaces were not contiguous, which was not ideal, but worked with Dan’s plan to create a retail store and separate photo studio / educational facility. The retail store included multiple display areas, digital lounge, sales counter, framing areas, processing lab, public toilet rooms, staff lounge and receiving/storage area.
The photo studio included a display/waiting area for customers, digital work areas, kids area, two flexible studio/classrooms, a public toilet area and storage room.
All renovations included minor demolition, new storefront system, new partitions, finishes, lighting, power, security/data, plumbing and HVAC systems.
