Nick Hewes Becomes LEED Accredited

MKSD architects is proud to announce that our Project Designer, Nicholas Hewes, has become a Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design Accredited Professional (LEED AP). Mr. Hewes has been accredited by the U.S. Green Building Council as having the knowledge and skills to successfully steward the LEED Certification process. To become accredited, Mr. Hewes has demonstrated a thorough understanding of green building practices and principles and the LEED Green Building Rating System.

Mr. Hewes joined MKSD architects in March 2005, after working as an Intern Architect at Hierarchy in Manhasset, New York. Mr. Hewes received his Bachelor of Architecture from Philadelphia University in 2004. At MKSD, Mr. Hewes serves as a Project Designer, Project Manager, and Construction Administrator with skills that take a project from design inception through construction completion. Mr. Hewes has provided such services for projects at Lehigh Carbon Community College, Catasauqua Area School District, and OraSure Technologies.
