NCC Monroe Campus in the News

MKSD is proud to be named in the latest article on the Northampton Community College’s new Monroe Campus in Pocono Township PA in the Lehigh Valley Business Journal… Link to the article is here. Some highlights are below:

“The development of the new campus represents the start of a new era for a region poised for strong growth on multiple levels. From restaurants to hotels to shopping centers – and major manufacturers – growth, and now skilled employees, should be on the way.”

“The campus is being built with the environment in mind, including energy efficient lighting, a geothermal heating and cooling system and a 500-kilowatt solar panel system, he said. The college is seeking a Gold designation in Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design.”
