Sealed proposals will be received in duplicate for the Pool Repair and Pool Equipment Replacement Project at William Allen High School by the Allentown School District, OWNER, at 1301 Sumner Avenue, Allentown, PA 18102 until 11:00 AM prevailing time on Monday, March 27, 2017, at which time Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud. The Bid must be accompanied by a Bid Security in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the total amount of Bid. All Bids must be effective for sixty (60) days from the date of Bid opening.
Bidders of record may obtain one set of bidding documents from MKSD, LLC. on March 13, 2017, by visiting the architect’s website www.mksdarchitects.com. To be recognized as a valid bidder, bid documents for this project (including any specifications and drawings) must be purchased and downloaded from the Architects website at www.mksdarchitects.com. Due to the possible inaccuracies in documents procured from other sources, and the potential for an incomplete understanding of the project scope of work, bids submitted by firms who procure these documents from any other source but the authorized source will be considered non-responsive and will be rejected.

A Pre-Bid conference will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, March 16, 2017, at William Allen High School located at 106 N. 17th Street, Allentown, Pennsylvania. Representatives of the OWNER and ARCHITECT will be present to discuss the project. Attendance is not mandatory but is highly recommended. ARCHITECT will transmit to all prospective BIDDERS of record such Addenda as ARCHITECT considers necessary in response to questions arising at the conference.
