GENERAL INFORMATION

DUE DATE: Sealed Bids will be received until Tuesday, March 18, 2013 at 11:00 AM. Failure to submit bids to the correct location by the designated date and hour will result in disqualification.

ADDRESS: Bids should be mailed or hand delivered to: Northampton Community College, Purchasing Office, 3rd Floor, Kopecek Hall, 3835 Green Pond Road, Bethlehem, PA 18020. Reference “Monroe Campus Wayfinding & Building Signage Bid” in the lower left corner of the return envelope or package.

Bid Bonds/Certified Checks are required in the amount of 5% of the Bid.

03/10/2014 – Deadline for all other questions regarding the RFB to be submitted via email to cdd@mksdarchitects.com
03/18/2014 – Sealed Bids are due (11:00 AM)
04/03/2014 – Approval of lowest qualified Bids by Board of Trustees and
04/04/2014 – Anticipated date for Notice of Award
05/15/2014 – Notice to proceed (NTP) / Installation Start Date
07/31/2014 – Installation Completion Date (75 calendar days from NTP)

Prospective Prime Bidders may obtain one (1) set of Contract Documents in a downloadable .pdf format from the Architect’s website at www.mksdarchitects.com for a non-refundable fee of $50.

To be recognized as a valid bidder, bid documents for this project (including any specifications and drawings) must be purchased and downloaded from the Architects website. Due to the possible inaccuracies in documents procured from other sources, and the potential for an incomplete understanding of the project scope of work, bids submitted by firms who procure these documents from any other source but the authorized source will be considered non-responsive.
